If you think you've been lost in a 90s-meets-60s fever dream, don't panic. You're actually just getting lost in the colorful graphic design work of Christa Camp. She blends together bright pink hues, retro florals and vintage razor phones (and I reluctantly refer to these as vintage btw, being that I had one... but I digress...) to create a style all her own.

And when she's not making virtual eye candy, she uses her calming voice to soothe the souls of all her podcast listeners. Aptly named Daydream and Listen, Christa's podcast explores fashion, art, career and culture in the most relaxing way. Basically? Yeah, Christa's the coolest, so keep reading for her thoughts on Bratz dolls, runway shows and furry pink blazers.

Hi Christa, please introduce your wonderful self.

Hey there!! My name is Christa Camp. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And I work full-time as a graphic designer for a clothing brand.

How would you describe your personal style?

It’s so hard to be introspective when it comes to defining my personal style. I feel like my friends and family would easily be able to coin a term for my fashion style, but for whatever reason it’s so challenging for me to define it in a simple way. I guess I would say I aspire to dress like a combination of a Polly Pocket and a Bratz doll hahaha. I have a pretty feminine sense of style and like to sprinkle in some retro and edgy elements into my look.

Who or what are your current biggest style inspirations?

Well, aside from Polly Pocket and any Bratz doll haha just kidding… I love following Liz Kapran and Matilda Djerf on socials. Both of them provide me with tons of style inspiration. I also get a lot of inspiration from looking at runway shows (past / present day) and editorial shoots.

What's the coolest thing in your closet right now?

I don’t think I can narrow it down to just one thing. I’m going to say it’s a tie between this AMAZING pink, fur collared blazer I recently thrifted and some of the clothes that I’ve been able to design through my job this past year.

Anything fun on your wishlist?

Like so many people, I’ve become a skincare junkie over the past couple of years, so I swear there’s always a new skincare product on my list. And I am on the hunt for a nice tote! I feel like the return of the large bag trend is nearly upon us, and I’m so here for it!

What's your go to midnight snack?

I’d have to say pistachios and a sweet flavored tea. Those two things are the way to my heart.

What's something you're really proud of right now?

I’m really proud of my work as a graphic designer. I’m very appreciative of my job and that it allows my work to be shared with the world. I’m filled with so much joy when I see kind comments about my designs and see that they evoked some sort of positive emotion.
